Susie's background includes working within the family brokerage with her mother, a prominent Albuquerque Owner/Broker, Patricia Blackwell. Patricia, who lovingly named the family brokerage Welcome Home to help new homeowners feel welcome and share the joys and benefits of homeownership in the Land of Enchantment. To this day, Welcome Home Realty puts a top priority in supporting the community and welcoming new homeowners in good old fashioned friendly neighbor style. Susie holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the University of North Texas with a concentration in Marketing and Management. Her Graduate degree was earned from Southern Methodist University in Liberal Arts with a concentration in Communication. She also earned her Master Practitioner Certification in Neuro Linguistics from the Advanced Neuro Dynamics, Inc in Honolulu, HI. Before real estate, Susie sold elevators, worked in finance, high tech, and online communities as well as the management of a business venture firm making contributions in marketing, business development, contract negotiations, communications, and strategic planning. Her hallmarks have always been: Be Competent, Have Confidence, Feel Comfortable. She has a passion for making an impact that opens opportunities for everyone to thrive.
